The Historic Kirchem Farm U-Cut Christmas Trees
Looking for the perfect Christmas Tree?
The Holiday Season is upon us and we are looking forward to seeing you soon!
Our U-Cut fields and historic farm are close-in and easy to find, and we love helping people build traditions.
Excitement, a sense of adventure and joyous anticipation fills the air:
- Learn how to identify varieties of Christmas trees.
- Pick your favorite tree type and start a family tradition.
- Participate in a self-guided Nature walk.
- Bring along a picnic to enjoy by the river. Toss in a Frisbee and camera.
- Download several copies of our “Nature Nuts” guide and bring them along. The whole family can enjoy a learning game scavenger hunt while you explore our farm.
- Hot chocolate at the Warming Hut
- Hay wagon rides through the tree fields.
- Pet the horses and visit with artisans at the horse barn
Winter, Summer, Spring and Fall – each season is filled with excitement at our historic farm. The Farm is situated along part of the Oregon Trail, on the south shores of the scenic Clackamas River, and we have 100 acres to explore. We are only ten minutes from I-205 exit 10 or exit 12. (See more details below.)
Did you jump in the car last summer and explore our nearby Historic Kirchem Farm?

It looks like a fun way to learn about farming and to see some beautiful country!
Thank you Kris, Reg and Cher for hosting us at beautiful Kirchem Farm last weekend! The boys (ages 5, 5 and 7) had a great time touring the farm and meeting the animals. The hayride was definitely a highlight! We enjoyed eating our picnic lunch down by the river; it’s so beautiful there, and quiet. When we pulled out our copies of the Nature Nuts Scavenger Hunt Game, we were surprised to see how many of the items we had “found” during our tour! What a wonderful way to spend the morning together in a safe, quiet environment! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful farm with us!
